Our client is a Malaysian company specializing in research and development, sales, distribution, and support services for specialized agricultural machinery. The company primarily focuses on mechanized solutions for the upstream palm oil sector, enhancing efficiency and productivity in plantation operations. They're seeking a Warehouse Manager who is experienced in warehouse management and custom processes.
Job Description
- Responsible for planning, delegating, and overseeing warehouse operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to ensure the stock levels are consistent with inventory records.
- Oversee the procurement of spare parts, and components and build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure consistent supply.
- Analyse lead times to customers for the sale of tractors and spare parts.
- Respond to quotations and purchase orders from customers for spare parts.
- Ensure all transportation and logistics documentation (e.g. invoices, delivery notes, permits) are accurate and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse supply chain planning, performance metrics, and identity improvements to meet key performance indicators. Conduct inventory optimisation and analysis.
What you'll need to succeed in this role
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in warehouse management, supply chain or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
