JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and overseeing employees’ and retirees' medical and leave benefits, ensuring they align with EPF’s goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Medical & Leave Operations
• Manage and administer employee’s medical and leave benefits according to the Terma dan Syarat Perkhidmatan (TSP)
• Advice and respond to any inquiries related to medical & leave benefits to the staff and retirees
• Accountable to process weekly medical bills and monthly service fees of Third-Party Administrators (TPA), government hospital and others
• Prepare a Journal Vouchers (JV) i.e. Interim, Sundry Debtors, Sundry Creditors, Controlling & Provision of medical benefits by monthly and quarterly basis
• Prepare and process medical insurance claims and payment related to staff leave
• Provide any medical & leave information to the other unit as needed
• Prepare a communication posters / notices to be distributed to the staff regarding medical & leave benefits
• Support in any projects under the Medical & Leave Unit.
2. Service Delivery
• Proactive, effective and efficient management of medical and leave core process
• Accuracy of claims validation for payment
• Accuracy of salary deduction for leave payment
• STAT KPI – Behaviours alignment for all Medical & Leave members
i. Timely and speed in planning, required fast decision-making in situation which required fast action especially related to medical and leave matters
ii. Data driven targeted solution(s) with critical and logical thinking
iii. Ownership & Accountability
iv. Transparency – timely update, syndicate, working collaboratively and innovatively
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen
- Obtain a pass in Bahasa Melayu, including oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
- Possess at least a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Human Resource/Sports Science/ Health/ Public Relation/ Finance/ Business Administration, or related fields recognised by the Malaysian Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions or a qualification recognized as equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in related fields.
- Previous experience in medical and leave or a similar role.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in Malay and English
- Have high motivation and can work under minimal supervision
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Able to work in a team, committed and able to complete tasks in a short time
- Have experience in all the above tasks will be given priority
