Key Accountabilities:

  • Content Creation: Write and edit high-quality content for various platforms including press releases, speeches, articles, newsletters, and social media.
  • Speech Writing: Craft engaging and persuasive speeches for healthcare executives and special events.
  • Press Releases: Prepare and pitch/distribute press releases across multiple media mix to announce important news, events, and updates from IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s network of hospitals.
  • Research: Conduct research to support content development and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Media, KOLs & Influencers Relations: Build, engage, enhance and maintain good relations with key media partners i.e. print media, magazines, radio, TV, digital, influencers, KOLs etc to secure coverage of hospital events and initiatives.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the organization’s branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Agencies:

-Manage PR agencies deliverables, ensure the agency meets the set KPIs timely and have regular meetings to monitor progress.

-Work with translators (for vernacular or international content) to get content translated to the right mediums and ensure translated content accuracy.

  • Collaborate:

-Partner with the Marketing team to create content that is relevant, compelling, and engaging to target audience and to be marketed via multiple platforms including digital and offline.

-Leverage on target audience’s (patients, caregivers, consumers, partners) insights and trends via market research to identify new and compelling ways in crafting healthcare content.

  • Budget & Administration:

-Effective utilization of allocated budget, monitor budget utilization and measure campaign/program/activities KPIs against budget/ROIs.

-Ensure timely submission of monthly reports.

-Perform other related duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Superior or any other person as directed from time to time

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PR role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  3. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  4. Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
