Position Summary
- To manage MAB Continuing Airworthiness Management aircraft maintenance programme, reliability and engineering activities.
- To ensure that the company's aircraft, engine, component and the associated equipment perform to specification as required by company and Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM).
- Develop and control a maintenance programme for the aircraft managed including any applicable reliability programme as required by CAAM. Present the aircraft maintenance programme and its amendments to the CAAM for approval.
- To liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and other operationally relevant external entities.
- To ensure the availability of technical specialists to support line maintenance.
- To operate an efficient Technical Publication Section so as to enable up-to-date technical manuals and references to be readily available and accessible to engineering personnel.
- Responsible to Head Maintenance Engineering (Head Part 145) on Part 145 matters as stipulated in Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) 1-4-03.
- Analysis of the effectiveness of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme as required by CAAM. To implement and maintain an efficient reliability program and also set up research and studies to investigate the possibility of technical improvements.
- To ensure that Technical Services Department staff are in possession of correct skills, are given appropriate training, are up to date on the latest methods, procedures and requirements and are in sufficient strength to accomplish their work effectively. Maintain the record of staff training and continuation training
- Degree in Well verse with aircraft technical with more than 15 years work experience in Engineering & Maintenance Division.
- Master in Engineering / Management or related discipline with more than 15 years work experience must possess an understanding of company procedures.
- Knowledge on Finance. Thorough knowledge on all airlines systems especially on Engineering & Maintenance.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Project / Programme management and able to coach / mentor staffs for work process improvement and staff performance.
- Strong leadership, organizational and management skills.
