  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We’re Hiring: Pharmacist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert guidance to patients and healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy purchasing and inventory control.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both oral and written).
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions.
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, potential side effects, and storage.
  • Maintain thorough and up-to-date records for all transactions and inventory.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Conduct regular audits of medications and supplies to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory, including monthly/yearly stock-taking and drug audits.
  • Educate patients about health management and disease prevention.

Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) / Graduate of a MOH-recognized University or College of Pharmacy with a B.Pharm Degree or B.Sc. (Pharmacy).
  • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board, Ministry of Health is an added advantage.
  • Licensed and registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
  • Proven experience in a retail or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care.
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and conducting drug utilization reviews.
  • Ability to assist the PIC in preparing drug reviews and pricing criteria for the medical center.
