Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, materials, and services required by the company while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The role involves supplier management, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Source, negotiate, and procure materials, goods, and services as per company requirements.
  • Maintain good relationships with existing vendors and develop new supplier partnerships.
  • Supplier & Contract Management
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms for the company.
  • Manage vendor databases and ensure up-to-date documentation.
  • Cost & Budget Control
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor procurement costs and work within the allocated budget.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Inventory & Purchase Order Management
  • Process purchase orders (PO) and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to determine procurement needs.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Minimize risks related to procurement, such as supplier dependency and quality issues.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and maintain procurement reports and records.
  • Analyze supplier performance and prepare evaluation reports.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement activities to management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
