Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Molding Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of molding processes, equipment, and maintenance procedures. The Molding Technician will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of injection molding machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate injection molding machines to produce parts according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on molding machines and equipment.
  • Ensure that molds, tools, and machines are properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Record production data, including machine settings, cycle times, and material usage.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve production issues.
  • Assist in the training of new employees and help with ongoing process improvements.
  • Ensure all production is completed within established deadlines and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in molding or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Molding Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, machinery, and tooling.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process issues.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding of technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high product quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated molding systems.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in manufacturing.
  • Certification or training in molding technology or machine operation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,829.00 per month
