Description

  1. Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
  2. Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash flow to ensure efficient fund management.
  3. Handle treasury administrative tasks, including bank account management, fund transfers, and payment processing.
  4. Prepare monthly financial statements, project cost reports, and management reports.
  5. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure proper cost allocation.
  6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  7. Coordinate with project teams to review budgets, update forecasts, and manage financial documentation.
  8. Support external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
  9. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reports to support management decision-making.

Requirements

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience; experience in the construction, engineering, or project-based industries is an added advantage.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP System or equivalent) and MS Office, especially Excel.
  4. Strong knowledge of project costing and budget tracking is an added advantage.
  5. Familiarity with tax and statutory compliance in Malaysia.
  6. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
