A Snapshot of Your Day
In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will lead the activities of the Grid Technologies Service Asia Pacific (GT SV) team. Together with your team your responsibilities include developing and implementing strategy and action plan in the region while driving continuous improvements in operations, considering a full business responsibility of the region. Additionally, you will build on collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions, actively contribute to growth strategy and make the team a value creator for the Business Area, adding strong value to customers. You are part of the global GT SV management team and actively driving overarching global vision and goals as well as contributing to value creation.
This role necessitates strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and partnering skills, outstanding business insight, proactive approach, and a solid entrepreneurial, hands-on profile to effectively drive the growth and development of the Asia Pacific business.
How You’ll Make An Impact
• Develop and implement Grid Technologies Service Asia Pacific (GT SV) strategy and action plan to ensure business growth and profitability according to conditions of the different countries in the Region.
• Apply appropriate portfolio elements with a clear value proposition aligned to customer needs and market trends and strongly connected to market approach and a proactive sales attitude.
• Manage the organization in an effective manner to achieve the planned financial performance, building on collaboration with other Execution Units and Functions, with active value creation for the company.
• Actively lead the team towards business goals and develop a diverse and competent multi cultural functional and regional leaders while collaborating globally across hubs.
• Ensure the highest standards of safety and business integrity by actively supporting our Zero Harm program and living our compliance culture.
• Support global strategy of regionalization
What You Bring
• MSc, MBA, with background in Engineering or Business Administration. Finance, Economics and Management also accepted.
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in business management, project management, consulting, finance, or sales.
• Excellent partner management skills at all organizational levels. Leadership experience in international teams and managing multiple interfaces.
• Strong set of personal skills that support building a network, developing people, culture, and organization combined with an approach of proactiveness, change management, and teamwork.
• Eagerness to consistently meet and exceed commitments/ objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges and driving the team forward.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Other local languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of the Transmission & Distribution market and service is desirable.
