  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Digital Platform Development
  • Oversee the design, development, and optimisation of Malaysiakini’s digital platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and user-centric design.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure platforms deliver exceptional performance across devices and maintain high availability for audiences.
Data and Analytics
  • Champion the use of data-driven decision-making by implementing advanced analytics and reporting systems.
  • Oversee data security and compliance to protect user information and maintain trust.
  • Leverage analytics to enhance audience engagement and optimize platform performance.
Innovation and Problem-Solving
  • Drive experimentation with new tools, technologies, and workflows to improve efficiency and innovation.
  • Address technical challenges and identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.
  • Develop solutions to meet the needs of a diverse and growing audience.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise
  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in the media or digital publishing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of web development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management.
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
Leadership and Management
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with editorial, product, and business teams.
Innovation and Vision
  • A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate and leverage emerging technology trends.
