- Assist in the execution of audits for clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standards (MPERS) and other relevant auditing standards.
- Conduct fieldwork, including testing internal controls, verifying financial records, and assessing compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare working papers and audit documentation to support audit findings and conclusions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other deliverables under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and resolve any queries during the audit process.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures to identify discrepancies or areas of concern.
- Assist in the identification of potential risks, internal control weaknesses, and other issues for further review.
- Stay updated on changes to auditing standards, tax regulations, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with team members and participate in team meetings to discuss audit progress and share insights.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English fluently.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Pursuing or completed professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of auditing, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and develop technical and professional skills.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
