Description

Strategic Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research and collaborate with the COO and Head of Marketing to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to guide strategic decision-making.

Collaboration Facilitation:

  • Work closely with internal teams to identify and explore collaboration opportunities with corporate partners and regulatory bodies.
  • Organize and coordinate joint events, initiatives, and projects to foster collaboration and strengthen the company’s reputation within the regulatory community.

Opportunity Exploration:

  • Proactively seek new opportunities for partnership and collaboration with corporate clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities that could benefit the organization.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in both target and existing client organizations.
  • Initiate strategic discussions that promote new business opportunities while reinforcing the commitment to current clients.

Contract Coordination and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with the legal and finance departments to ensure contracts are aligned with strategic goals and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Ensure that all agreements meet legal and financial requirements while supporting business objectives.

Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development, marketing (including sales and remisier), or a relevant field, preferably within the financial services, investment, or technology sectors.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles, ideally within the financial services industry.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial capital markets, stockbroking industry, and relevant products and operations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with regulatory officials, senior executives, and internal teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
  • Project Management: Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and pay attention to detail.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify opportunities for collaboration and navigate complex regulatory environments.
