- Handling various type of import, export and cross-trade shipments ranging from airfreight to sea freight to local transport delivery.
- Handle shipments from booking stage till invoicing of customers before closing the job files.
- Coordinate with relevant parties including customers and sales team to ensure smooth operation of shipments.
- Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that they are complete and comply with rules and regulations.
- Manage customer's expectations and keep them informed of the status of their orders.
- Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
- Maintain relationships with carriers and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and carriers.
- Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
- Provide shipment quotes for customers and set up shipments as required by customers.
- Prepare and ensure timely dispatch of shipping documents.
- SPM leavers with freight forwarding industry experience are encourage to apply.
- Ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and responsible character.
- Pleasant personality with focus on excellence in customer service.
- Prior working experience will be an added advantage.
- Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Possess self-confidence and be able to actively interact with all relevant parties.
