Job Description

  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of fire extinguisher inventory including tracking quantities, locations, and expiration dates.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.

    Logistical Coordination:

    • Coordinate the transportation and delivery of fire extinguishers to various locations, including client sites, warehouses, and service centers.
    • Schedule and prioritize distribution activities to meet customer demands and service requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics processes and minimize delivery delays.

    Inspections and Maintenance:

    • Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure they are in proper working condition and comply with safety regulations.
    • Conduct maintenance tasks such as refilling, recharging, and pressure testing extinguishers as needed.
    • Identify and address any defects or issues with extinguishing equipment, including repairs or replacements as necessary.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Complete detailed records of all extinguisher inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
    • Generate reports on inventory levels, distribution activities, and equipment status for management review.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • SPM, diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics, inventory management, or firefighting preferred.
    • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in inventory management and logistical coordination.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
    • Valid driver's license or GDL license with a clean record.
