Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of fire extinguisher inventory including tracking quantities, locations, and expiration dates.
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
Logistical Coordination:
- Coordinate the transportation and delivery of fire extinguishers to various locations, including client sites, warehouses, and service centers.
- Schedule and prioritize distribution activities to meet customer demands and service requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize logistics processes and minimize delivery delays.
Inspections and Maintenance:
- Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure they are in proper working condition and comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as refilling, recharging, and pressure testing extinguishers as needed.
- Identify and address any defects or issues with extinguishing equipment, including repairs or replacements as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete detailed records of all extinguisher inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, distribution activities, and equipment status for management review.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- SPM, diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics, inventory management, or firefighting preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in inventory management and logistical coordination.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Valid driver's license or GDL license with a clean record.
