
Part-Time Audio Engineer
Audio Setup & Equipment Management
- Set up and operate microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and recording equipment for various productions.
- Ensure proper sound levels, clarity, and quality for live and recorded content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio systems.
Live & Studio Audio Production
- Manage audio mixing and sound engineering during live broadcasts and recorded sessions.
- Monitor sound quality, eliminate noise disturbances, and ensure a smooth listening experience.
- Collaborate with announcers, producers, and content creators to enhance sound production.
Post-Production Editing
- Edit and enhance recorded audio, applying EQ, compression, and noise reduction.
- Synchronize audio with video content when required.
- Ensure final mixes meet broadcasting and digital distribution standards.
Technical Maintenance & Compliance
- Regularly check and maintain audio equipment for optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with broadcasting standards and company policies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or upgrades needed.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the content team, production crew, and event coordinators.
- Provide technical support during live events, interviews, and special projects.
- Diploma/Degree in Sound Engineering, Audio Production, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- At least 1 year of experience in audio engineering, live sound mixing, or studio production.
- Proficiency in audio mixing consoles, microphones, digital audio workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or Logic Pro.
- Experience with live sound setups, recording techniques, and troubleshooting audio issues.
- Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on project requirements.
