
Warehouse Manager
- Operation (Inbound, outbound & warehouse)
- Plans, organizes, maintains, and manages the operations department – Inbound, outbound & warehouse
- Ensure that the warehouse and logistics teams operate at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse and logistics employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Manage daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Takes ownership of the inventory management and responsible for stock accuracy.
- Proper and periodic inventory monitoring to ensure that stocks in warehouse or moving in / out are always in order – periodically spot checks the following:
1. Correct data entered into system i.e. item, weightage, expiry date and so on
2. Accurate stocks being loaded into trucks according to the delivery order
3. Correct items are located at designated pick faces as per system
- Monitoring order via system and ensure pick faces are allocated with sufficient and accurate SKUs. Continuously monitor picking accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor and guide Supervisors to ensure they are competently managing their subordinates:
1. Accuracy and efficiency management – inbound, picking and outbound
2. Periodically monitors foreign workers to ensure they are completing their duties instead of missing elsewhere
3. Report any disciplinary breaches to superior
- Ensure satisfactory warehouse cleanliness at all times and not only during audit periods.
- Ensure that all returned items are processed into the system and relocated to their proper location. Ensure that all expired returned items are disposed of properly.
- Proper warehouse shutdown management:
1. All storage and pick faces must be locked and secured
2. No stock items left in the loading / unloading bays
3. Warehouse has been cleaned of any debris or waste
4. All necessary electronics and lightings have been shut down
Requirement
- Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate, Logistic/Transportation, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of working experience in the related field and 3 years people management role.
- Able to speak, read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management.
- People management skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas.
- Ability to learn quickly and attention to detail.
- Planning and organizing skills to effectively manage the flow of stock.
- Able to withstand cold temperatures.
- Computer literate.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
