Job Description
- Perform 1st Level denied party screening of shipment details by reviewing match information in the Denied Party Application (DPA)
- Analyse Denied Parties/Sanctions and export control high match shipments/non-shipments records against the agreed and approved lists (defined in GSOP)
- Update relevant systems with the results and actions taken in the review of the high match shipments
- Escalate all potential valid match shipment records to Level 2 screeners for enhanced screening.
- Release on hold shipments not escalated to Level 2
- Assist as directed by Senior Analyst, Supervisor and Manager in the research and review of escalated high match shipment records
- Participate in planning and directing the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations
- Duties as otherwise assigned
- Diploma or Degree Holder from a reputable academic institution or equivalent by experience
- Min 1-2 years of working experience in similar position or field
- 1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred.
- Experience in compliance, sanctions screening preferred
- Entry Level Job – specialist training provided
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database and web-based applications
- Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; courteous and clear telephone voice
- Proficiency on a 10 key number pad
- Fluent English and another regional language, depending on the region requirement (Korean, Japanese, Mandarin etc)
- Able to work quickly and accurately in high pressure environment under limited supervision
- High attention to details
- Able to perform detailed validation / research in multiple internal IT systems, internet, internal databases and hard copy files / documents
- Self-motivated, willingness to constantly have self-development
- Strong team player
