Job Requirement

  • Degree or Diploma in any discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ managing experience in multiple F&B outlets & group of area managers, with proven records of operational success in sales & cost control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Analytical and report writing skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
  • Business acumen and excellent with figures and P&L
  • Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia, English & Mandarin (advantage)

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepares in close conjunction with the Executive Chef and section heads in F&B on the business plan and monitors budget versus actual results during the financial year.
  • Plans and implements replacement of FF&E and OE in accordance with needs and available budget.
  • Prepares and implements the hotel’s F&B Marketing Plan.
  • Analyze & monitor the departmental Profit & Loss (P&L).
  • Constantly seeks to profit engineer by monitoring cost of sales and implementing revenue increasing products/programs/activities.
  • Monitors and controls F&B inventories.
  • Ensures all F&B departments operate in accordance with established Standards Of Operation (SOP), Brand Standard & Policies & Procedures (P&P).
  • Maintains effective communication with all outlets and kitchens to follow-up on Review Pro feedback and consistently maintains high product and service standards.
  • Ensures every outlet including banquet, buffet set-ups and banquet function themes are creative and in accordance with the Amari brand image.
  • Works together with the Executive Chef to ensure menus are cost effective and in accordance with trends and market demands.
  • Supervises and coordinates pricing and preparation of menus, beverage and wine lists.
  • Ensures any changes to an outlet’s décor, menus etc. are in line with the outlet’s concept statement.
  • Reviews all F&B outlets covers forecasts and ensures Team Members are scheduled accordingly.
  • Follows up on all Review Pro feedback i.e. service recovery actions, improvement action plans.
  • Supervises the preparation, presentation and service of food and drinks to ensure the highest quality at all times.
  • Assists in the operation when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
