M&E Draftsman

Responsibilities: M&E Drawings Preparation Prepare and develop M&E coordination drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) based on project requirements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications, architectural layouts, and structural elements. Coordination & Integration Coordinate M&E services with architectural, structural, and interior design drawings to avoid conflicts. Work closely with interior designers, engineers, and site teams to ensure smooth integration of M&E services. Assist in resolving clashes and discrepancies between M&E, structural, and ID elements. Documentation & Submission Prepare and update M&E shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed technical drawings for submission to consultants and clients. Ensure all M&E drawings comply with local authority regulations and project specifications. Project Support & Site Coordination Provide technical support to the project team and site personnel regarding M&E installations. Conduct site visits to verify compliance with drawings and provide necessary adjustments if required. Liaison & Communication Work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper implementation of M&E works. Attend coordination meetings to discuss drawing-related issues and resolve discrepancies. Software & Standards Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), or other drafting software for M&E drawing preparation. Ensure drawings follow the company’s drafting standards, industry best practices, and local codes.
