Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working as an electrician and/or maintenance technician within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work off/varied shift/weekends, as required.
  • Preferable have professional license or certification in one of the following areas; Electrician, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Plumber/Pipefitter, Automation/Controls, Machining, Welding.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft word & excel applications.
  • Basic knowledge in PLC and its trouble shooting will be added advantage
  • Ability to manage spare parts tracking and source for credible spare parts online
  • Ability to study electrical diagram, blueprints and schematics.
  • Good Team Player

Job Descriptions:

  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on the machines.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and industrial equipment within the factory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in setting up machines for production runs, calibrating, and aligning them for optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on both mechanical and electrical systems, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of components like hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve both mechanical and electrical faults, including short circuits, faulty wiring, machine malfunctions, and equipment breakdowns.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operation and machine efficiency, coordinating with production teams to meet targets.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring proper operation and electrical wiring of machines and infrastructures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, electrical repairs, parts replacement, and machine performance data.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical components, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
  • Provide suggestions to superiors to further improve the factory and machines maintenance, especially electrical systems.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to in all maintenance and electrical work within the factory.
