As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the customs clearance process.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently, in compliance with relevant regulations, and in a timely manner. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in customs procedures, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline customs clearance activities.
- Verifies and maintains records of incoming and outgoing goods in a warehouse.
- Handles full set of shipping documents for import & export operation
- Coordinates with forwarder on shipment documents accurately.
- Coordinates all applications to Royal Malaysia Customs Department.
- Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required by superior.
Requirement:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in customs clearance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of customs regulations, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Customs Declaration for K8/K9/K2/K1
- Experience in managing Bonded Warehouse for Customs operations – Month Inventory, Stock card management,
- Experienced in communication with Royal Customs Malaysia
- Experienced in Bonded Customs Rules and regulations.
- Well versed in 3rd party system for Customs form declaration (Dagangnet system).
