IT Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Technical Support:
· Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
· Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in-person in a timely manner.
·Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with computers, printers, and other peripherals.
2. System Maintenance:
· Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
· Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks on software applications and operating systems.
3.Network Support:
· Assist in monitoring and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.
· Support network connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff as necessary.
4.User Assistance:
·Provide guidance and training to users on IT-related matters, including software applications and security best practices.
·Assist in creating and maintaining user accounts and permissions.
5.Documentation:
·Maintain accurate records of IT issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
·Document procedures for common tasks and troubleshooting steps.
6.Inventory Management:
·Assist in managing IT inventory, including tracking hardware and software assets.
·Coordinate with vendors for equipment and software purchase, renewal, repairs and replacements.
7.IT Projects:
·Support IT team members in various IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments.
· Assist in testing and implementing new technologies.
8.Instructions from Superiors:
·Follow and execute instructions from superiors and management promptly and accurately.
·Ensure all tasks assigned by management are completed efficiently and to the required standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
