Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in quality control testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Conduct sensory evaluations, stability studies, and other product analysis under supervision.
- Support in documenting and maintaining QC/QA records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and certification requirements (e.g., Halal, MeSTI, HACCP, GMP).
- Assist in the investigation of non-conformance issues and propose corrective actions.
- Participate in internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Assist the R&D team in developing, testing, and improving new/existing products.
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking for R&D projects.
- Support in the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to QC, QA, and R&D activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality and product development projects.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and laboratory testing procedures is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
