Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, order, and overall guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising housekeeping team members, maintaining high cleaning standards, and coordinating with other departments for seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and assign duties to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Train, mentor, and monitor housekeeping employees to maintain high performance and efficiency.
  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness meets company standards.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff for any needed repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Restaurant, hotel & hospitality industry.
