As a member of the Asia Finance team, the Freight Audit Supervisor is responsible for auditing logistics suppliers’ billing for accuracy based on plant demand and contractual terms. Acts as a gatekeeper from receiving supplier billing in systems like Coupa to generating ‘Ok to Pay’ reports for suppliers and plants. Also coordinates data collection, dashboard management, and team oversight. With our office based at UOA Business Park, Shah Alam, reports to the Manager in Philippines.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of freight auditors.
  • Audit and verify freight invoices for accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in freight billing.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping contracts and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of freight audits and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with logistics, finance, and procurement departments.
  • Prepare detailed reports on freight costs and discrepancies.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and freight rate changes.
  • Negotiate with carriers to resolve billing issues and optimize costs.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree in Business & Data Analytics, International Business, or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience.
  • Experience in customer operation coordination and hands-on freight audit.
  • Preferred: Experience in logistic data analysis.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong communication skills and knowledge of logistics services (import/export, air/ocean freight, ground transportation, warehouse).
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Willing to work in UOA Business Park, Shah Alam.
