Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, DC, or a related field. A Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within the IT, cloud services, or data center industry.

Job Scope:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Set clear sales goals and track progress toward achieving targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Business Director to align sales initiatives with overall company objectives.
  • Explore strategic partnerships and collaborations with potential partners both within and beyond Malaysia.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts to identify and secure new clients, ensuring a robust sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with Basis Bay’s business and financial objectives.
  • Represent Basis Bay at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand client networks.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Manage, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals, setting clear objectives and expectations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous coaching and professional development.
  • Ensure team activities are aligned with company goals, driving individual and collective success.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Partner with the marketing team to enhance lead generation efforts and develop supporting sales materials.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports, market insights, and forecasts to the executive team.
  • Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery for new clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM18,000.00 - RM22,000.00 per month
