Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of full-cycle (360) recruitment experience, preferably in sectors such as Oil & Gas, IT, ICT, Supply Chain Management/Logistics,Shipping & Maritime/Marine, Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering. This role requires a driven individual with a strong sales orientation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Role & Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage high-quality candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals. Utilize advanced search techniques to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • End-to-End Recruitment Management: Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from crafting job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting phone screening calls & interviews, and summarizing candidate profiles for client presentation, to handling offer negotiations.
  • Candidate Engagement & Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, ensuring a positive experience and representing our employer brand professionally at all times.
  • Client Interaction & Service Excellence: Act as a liaison between clients and candidates, understanding and delivering on client requirements while providing timely and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Sales & Business Development: Demonstrate a proactive approach to business development activities, focusing on expanding our network and creating new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Market Expertise: Keep up to date with industry trends and insights in relevant sectors to advise clients and candidates accurately and strategically.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and company policies, maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting.
  • Administrative & Ad-Hoc Support: Handle any ad-hoc duties related to recruitment as required.
  • Monitoring payment collections from clients after successful candidate placements
  • Always represent our company TERRA ASIA GROUP in a professional manner, through presentation, preparation and behavior & ensure at following company policies & guidelines as you must ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Educational Background: A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Recruitment Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a 360-recruitment role or 180 -recruitment role, with a proven track record in recruitment sales and successful placements.
  • Industry Exposure: Experience recruiting for roles in Oil & Gas, IT,ICT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management/Logistics, Logistics,Shipping & Maritime/Marine, Construction or Engineering is highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written) is essential. Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Tech-Savy: Proficient in recruitment software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is highly preferred
  • Sales-Driven: Demonstrates a strong sales and business development mindset, with the ability to achieve and exceed recruitment KPIs.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client and candidate expectations effectively.
  • Self-Motivated: Must be a highly motivated, independent self-starter who can work effectively in a team and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangements:

Must be able to reliably commute to the company’s office in Kuala Lumpur

Monday to Thursday – 9:00AM to 6:00PM

Friday- 9:00AM – 5:30PM

Salary Range:

RM2,000 to RM4,500 (commensurate with experience & qualifications)
