Safety & Health Responsibilities
- Advise the company on safety measures to protect employees in the workplace.
- Review and ensure the implementation of safety plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) for each production activity.
- Inspect the workplace for safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Serve as Secretary for the Safety & Health Committee and fulfill regulatory functions.
- Investigate and report on accidents, hazards, and occupational health issues.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (e.g., DOSH, BOMBA) to ensure compliance.
- Ensure the fire-fighting systems are maintained and operational.
- Organize emergency response drills and promote safety awareness through training and meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Valid Green Book holder registered with the Dept of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)
- OSHA certification, Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent safety certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 experiences in a safety role, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to respond effectively to emergencies or challenging situations

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM6,400.00 per month
