Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating proteins.
  • Cooking Assistance: Support senior chefs in cooking and plating dishes according to restaurant standards.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
  • Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and ensure proper food storage and labeling.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Learning & Development: Take initiative to learn new cooking techniques, recipes, and kitchen procedures from senior chefs.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary training is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for cooking and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
