Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the inventory and distribution of spare parts, accessories, or components within a company, ensuring optimal stock levels, timely order fulfillment, identifying customer needs, sourcing required parts, and providing technical support when necessary; key duties include maintaining inventory records, processing customer orders, managing supplier relationships, and providing technical assistance regarding part compatibility and selection.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintaining accurate records of all parts inventory, including stock levels and location.
- Conducting monthly stock audits to identify and address slow-moving or obsolete parts.
- Forecasting demand and ordering parts to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Develop and optimize operational standards for the store.
Order Management:
- Monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival of parts.
- Assist in processing orders, ensuring the correctness and timeliness of the order flow.
Technical Support:
- Providing technical assistance to internal customers and technicians regarding part selection and compatibility.
- Staying updated on product specifications and new part releases and prices.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generating inventory reports and stock aging reports for management review.
- Identifying trends and opportunities to optimize parts sales and inventory management.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of product lines and part functionality
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer applications
- Effective communication skills to interact with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good command of English/Bahasa is a must.
- Good in Microsoft Office—Excel is a must, PowerPoint, and Word.
Job Requirements
- Diploma, bachelor's degree, or above, with at least 2 years of automotive after-sales experience, including DMS usage experience and store accessory ordering management experience.
- Previous experience in a parts sales or inventory management role within a similar industry.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, machinery components, or other relevant product lines
- Strong execution skills, excellent communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Being upright, diligent, and motivated; full of passion for work; recognizing corporate culture; and able to have a positive impact on people around us.
- Possess basic logical thinking and strong communication and coordination skills.
- Adapted to a fast-paced work environment, able to travel, with strong pressure resistance.
- Priority is given to those who have after-sales accessory store order management and inventory management experience, with regional, channel sales, and chain store sales experience.
- Possess a valid driving license, be proficient, and have no bad driving records.
- Work location: Chan Sow Lin, Kuala Lumpur.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
