JOB SUMMARY

Manage (plan, coordinate and execute plans) campaigns, programmes and compliance operations following policies, manuals, work instructions, OSHE prepared by EPF to fulfill objectives, observance towards legal requirements, code of practice, guidelines and standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and examine principles, procedures, policies, manuals, work instructions, notifications and knowledge related to Occupational Safety and Health at EPF.
  • Coordinate HSE Management System Implementation (ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015).
  • Assist in the internal audit program for ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.
  • Review and develop OSHE related-documents prior to implementation.
  • Develop, implement and maintain OSHE Program including quarterly JKK meetings at all branches (meeting preparation, follow-up on outstanding matters raised from the meeting etc).
  • Monitor OSHE legal compliance status and implementation at all branches including OSHA 1994, EQA 1974 etc.
  • Drive, coordinate, monitor and follow up on workplace inspection and audits related to OSHE at all EPF branches.
  • Inspect and assess Risk Assessment (Risk Assessment HIRARC) at locations associated with risks by OSHE Unit.
  • Coordinate development trainings for members, Occupational Safety and Health officers / Occupational Safety Health Coordinator (OSHC) at EPF.
  • Assist in OSHE competency and training development plan.
  • Administrative related matters including procurement and administration.
  • As a focal person for communication and engagement programs.
  • Support and assist OSH Coordinator in OSHE implementation at all EPF’s branches.
  • Initiate incident investigation, collect and analyse data for unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses and occupational incidents.
  • Provide awareness and advice on administration of steps that should be taken to secure the interests of Occupational Safety and Health at EPF.
  • Monitor and coordinate Emergency Response Plan at all branches.
  • Plan and ensure that improvement strategies are implemented to increase effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Above 21 years old upon closing date of application.
  • Pass the Malay Language including the oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health/ Facility Management/ Engineering or any related course from any local universities or overseas higher learning institutions recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
  • Possess at least 2 years of experience working in managing ISO 45001:2018 & ISO14001:2015 in any industry.
  • Possess a Safety Green Book that is registered with DOSH is preferred.
  • Candidate with a Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM) certificate is an added advantage.
