Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for brand campaigns, ensuring each design aligns with brand identity and meets project goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end creation of marketing assets, including product images, packaging, banners, and print collaterals.

Social Media Content & Posting Management

  • Conceptualize and design on-brand, visually engaging graphics for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content calendars and campaign objectives; manage scheduling and posting of all content.
  • Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) and respond promptly to audience interactions, in coordination with the marketing team.

Brand Consistency & Development

  • Maintain and refine brand guidelines for both the home care and pet care brands, ensuring cohesive application across all visual touchpoints (online and offline).
  • Propose updates to brand elements and design systems as needed to keep brand visuals fresh and relevant.

Team Mentorship & Leadership

  • Lead, guide, and mentor the other Graphic Designer, providing regular feedback and ensuring continuous growth and development.
  • Encourage a collaborative, creative environment, promoting best practices and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand campaign objectives and brand positioning, ensuring designs hit the mark.
  • Manage relationships with external freelancers or agencies for specialized design needs (e.g., illustration, motion graphics), as appropriate.

Project Management

  • Prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines, balancing design quality and speed of execution.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project milestones, manage expectations, and adjust workflows based on feedback and evolving needs.

Innovation & Trend Awareness

  • Stay updated on global design trends, digital tools, and emerging technologies, particularly in the social media space.
  • Suggest and implement innovative design approachesâinteractive elements, motion graphics, or AR filtersâto elevate brand presence and engagement.

Quality Control & Review

  • Review and approve all final creative materials, ensuring they meet brand guidelines, technical requirements, and high design standards.
  • Implement a feedback loop post-campaign to analyze performance metrics (including social media engagement) and refine creative direction for future projects.

Brand Expansion & Global Outreach

  • Support global expansion initiatives for the pet care brand, adapting visuals to align with cultural and market nuances.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to tailor social media strategies for international audiences.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelorâs degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3â5 years in a professional design role, ideally with hands-on social media and e-commerce experience; prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Premiere Pro and After Effects is advantageous.
  • Understanding of design requirements for various social media platforms, including image sizing, file formats, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and best practices for posting and monitoring content.
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and adapt content strategies for optimal engagement.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and create cohesive brand identities, ensuring visual consistency across different mediums.
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to transform marketing briefs into engaging narratives on social channels.
