Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive to join our Finance team in KL office. This role involves managing full sets of accounts, overseeing daily financial operations, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts, including journal entries, general ledger updates, and account reconciliations
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including data entry, invoicing, payments, and receipts to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Review and process monthly staff claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies and controls
- Assist in compiling and analysing monthly, year-end, and ad-hoc financial reports for management in making informed decisions
- Provide support to the finance team with various ad hoc accounting tasks and process improvements, and system enhancements as required
Education and professional skills / knowledge
Experience & Education:
- Preferably candidates with at least a Diploma and/or Degree in Accounting equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in accounting or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting system (i.e. Xero and Autocount)
Other skills:
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Meticulous with a sense of urgency and able to work with minimum supervision
- A strong team player with good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
