Job Responsibilities
- Manage in-house team of Field Recovery agents to ensure that collection targets are met and activities are done with compliance of regulatory requirements.
- Take on additional tasks or take part in field visits as and when required.
- Oversee the recovery and collections activities of the Collections Buckets for DPD 180 to write off and minimize bad debt portfolio.
- Coordinate and manage the panel of external agencies to allocate accounts and ensure performance targets are met Workout of non-performing loans/ assets through restructuring of debt, and negotiation of settlement with borrowers
- Manage the performance of the external collection agencies to meet their recovery targets.
- Liaising with panel lawyers to ascertain the best course of action and pursue any legal action.
- Ensure all collection internal and external policies are followed.
- Good understanding and familiarity with legal documentation
- Minimum 3-5 years Previous recovery or field collection services team leader experience managing consumer loan collections
- Experience in Banking, Telecom or E-commerce collecting customer debt
- Have Diploma or degree
- Knowledge of collections regulations and the Fair Debt Collection Act
