What would you do?

  • Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of cyber and data security policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data.
  • Support internal and external security risk assessments (e.g. partner due diligence, PCI DSS, etc), assisting in the identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Follow up with stakeholders and ensure assessment / audit findings and regulatory control gaps are addressed and closed on a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide subject matter expert guidance on cyber/data security best practices as well as ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., PDPA, BNM MCIPD, etc) and internal data governance policies.
  • Perform research and stay informed about emerging trends, threats, and advancements in cyber and data security fields, and share insights with the team.
  • Responsible for annual security awareness programme and phishing simulation.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Who should join us?

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems or its equivalents.
  • Previous work experience of at 1-2 years in information security and/or data management would be advantageous but not strictly required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • A positive attitude and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Experience within a financial institution environment and the associated regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. RMiT, MCIPD) would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with data privacy frameworks (e.g. PDPA, GDPR) would be an added advantage.
