Job Description
- Advise the Management on the Company’s financial trends and forecasts.
- Advise the Management on the financial implication of business/project activities.
- Oversee and implement effective internal controls of the Company.
- Liaise with the auditors, bankers and related external parties.
- Prepare papers for the Board of Directors meeting/approval.
- Manage the Finance/Accounting Department
- Review financial statements, timely preparation and monthly submission.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accurate, complete and up to date accounting records in accordance with statutory regulatory requirements, applicable accounting standards and group policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agent, solicitors, bankers and other external parties to ensure company compliance with all matters relating to audit, tax and statutory requirements.
- Review all schedules are prepared for audit purposes
- Review Responsible for fixed asset register & inventory control
- Review Yearly Forecast Budget & Revised of Budget with the guidance or assistance from CEO/GM, PKFZ & Finance Manager, PKA.
- Review / Supervise / assist in management of accounts payable, cashiers and credit control.
- Review the Financial report in monthly basis
- Review Supplier accounts
- Resolve complex queries with internal and external customers and suppliers
Required Qualifications/Work Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Independent, meticulous, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines when required.
- Ability to multi-task, meticulous eye for detail and work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team.
- MUST be able to work fast under pressure and have good discipline.
- Computer literate proficiency in Microsoft Office application.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Selangor
