We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Commercial Business Management department under Group Business & Transaction Banking division as an Assistant Vice President, Cash Management Specialist.

The Role

A successful candidate in this position will be accountable for the following:

  • To actively commercialize available cash management products & solutions offered by the Bank that will contribute to the business and financial objectives.
  • Provide solution advisory to internal/external stakeholders on suitable cash management solutions whereby tailored the product(s) to meet the internal/external stakeholder’s needs while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Description

Cash Management Solutions Advisory

  • Provide 1st level support/queries/advisory/troubleshooting/provide resolution on respective cash management products together with BWM/CWM/Cash Sales team.
  • Working closely with Trade Sales/Trade Specialist and Relationship Managers/BWM/CWM across the LOBs with a mixed portfolio of ETB/NTB clients, managing their cash management requirements and procuring NTB clients with cash management requirement.
  • Structure cash management deals by providing cash management solutions catering to customer’s requirements.
  • Achieve the Portfolio Cash income plan through the relationship management of existing clients, protecting income lines from potential competitor threat and through the acquisition of new business in the cash arena and establishing the Bank as one of the market leaders in the field of cash and liquidity management.
  • Participate in building and communicating the existing and strategic cash management proposition for the Bank.
  • Actively promote cash management solutions to drive account and relationship stickiness for key customers/Group.
  • Actively engage with LOBs to enhance customer retention and build utilization of BizSmart and Cash Management solutions.
  • Address day-to-day business process matters such as technical support, operational issues, client service support, legal documentation and any other related tasks assigned.

Cash Solution Product Development & Review

  • Contribute to customer or product research in collaboration with Market insight team to identify changing customer needs and competitor analysis.
  • Contribute and enhance internal procedures, such as the escalation protocol, product specific policies and user guides to ensure continuous improvement in cash management solutions and client experience.
  • Support development and perform annual renewal of related product manual (i.e. FPX and similar products review)
  • Support continuous system enhancements (UAT testing) / customization based on customer requirements and needs.
  • Support and prepare for the bank’s audit activities
  • Ensure all products adhere to the regulatory requirements (e.g. FEA, BNM)

Knowledge

  • Understands financial impact such as ROI, compliance requirements, conduct risk assessment and identify any potential risks, and provide reports to management and auditors.
  • Good computer knowledge
  • Good financial projection and data analysis skill

Experience

  • Degree holder in related fields
  • 5 – 8 years of specialized experience in Financial Services, including 3 years+ in cash management sales or product management.
  • Solid understanding of Cash Management business and the benefits of core products and services such as payable, receivable, liquidity management, on-line portal, e-delivery channels.
