Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Brand Executive to join our Marketing Division. The ideal candidate will oversee the creative direction for brand, products and campaigns, focusing on creative materials. This includes product packaging, logos, PR materials, and other offline assets. The position will be responsible for providing creative suggestions & developing ideas, ensuring that the tone and message of each campaign are cohesive across various marketing tools and mechanisms from a design and visual aspect. The position works with different departments and leaders to strengthen and maintain the organization’s brand.

Job Description

1. Creative Direction & Strategy

  • Lead the creative development of offline marketing materials, including packaging, logos, brochures, posters, event collateral and etc.
  • Ensure that the creative strategy aligns with the brand identity and campaign goals.
  • Maintain a cohesive tone, visual style, and message that are consistent across all marketing platforms (both offline and online), collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.

2. Provide Suggestions, Ideas, and Storyboards:

  • Brainstorm and propose innovative creative ideas to support marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Develop storyboards and design briefs to communicate the visual flow and key design elements of campaigns.
  • Provide suggestions on improving design execution and enhancing the overall impact of materials such as layout, typography, brand colors, and design specifications.
  • Review and refine design elements to ensure that brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and message are visually consistent across all platforms (e.g., print materials, packaging, and event displays).

3. Project/Campaign Management:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of creative materials.
  • Coordinate with printers, production houses, and vendors to ensure high-quality output and delivery of offline materials.

4. Market Trends & Innovation:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and design innovations to bring fresh, creative ideas to campaigns.
  • Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure that all materials meet marketing objectives and adhere to brand standards.
  • Continuously suggest improvements to enhance the creative process and maximize design impact.

Job Requirements:

1. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in creative design, preferably in marketing, advertising, or product-based industries.
  • Proficiency in design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, AI, Premier Pro).
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative work in product packaging, branding, and offline campaign materials.

2. Skills and Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in all three languages.
  • Strong creative and artistic vision with the ability to translate ideas into impactful visual assets that brings concepts to life.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong proofreading and quality-checking capabilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with offline production processes, including print and packaging specifications.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, or product-driven industries.
  • Knowledge of typography, color theory, and composition principles
