Position Purpose:
The Regional Retail Operations Manager ensures operational excellence and consistency across all retail markets. This role develops and maintains retail SOPs, optimizes inventory, enhances visual merchandising, and ensures compliance with LUXASIA Retail Excellence (RX) standards. This position plays a pivotal role in transforming retail operations, maximizing efficiency, and delivering exceptional retail experience that directly impacts business growth and brand success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all regional retail-related projects to enhance operational efficiency and brand presence.
Establish, implement, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for retail operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine retail policies and processes that drive operational excellence.
Work closely with internal teams to optimize inventory levels at trade, ensuring efficiency and availability.
Provide strategic guidance and support to local retail teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and operational standards.
Partner with relevant teams to execute outstanding in-store visual merchandising and planograms in line with brand values and guidelines.
Work alongside the Training Team to design and implement training curriculum for store teams, ensuring high performance and service excellence.
Mentor and coach local Retail Operations Managers to ensure effective execution of regional strategies.
Conduct Retail Excellence audits across all markets, identify gaps, and guide teams on necessary improvements.
Perform on-site visits and checklist assessments to ensure adherence to Retail Excellence frameworks and operational standards.
Lead and support retail set up for new brand launches, counter setups, and new channel expansions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in retail operations management within a regional capacity for at least for 8 years or more.
Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen to drive decision-making and optimize performance.
Strong ability to develop and implement retail SOPs and policies.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Possess strong technical and IT proficiency with experience in using various tools and software. Such as SAP, MS excel and etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize inventory and retail processes.
Experience in visual merchandising execution and compliance auditing.
Ability to drive training and development initiatives for retail teams.
Hands-on experience in launching new brands, counters, or retail channels.
