Job Description – ACCOUNTS CUM ADMIN ASSISTANT

Position Title: Accounts cum Admin Assistant

Reporting to: Finance & Admin Manager

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Main Responsibilities / Skills

  • Daily accounting duties including data entry and bookkeeping
  • Daily upload attendance records into HR System and generate attendance records once a month
  • Responsible for managing the accounts receivable and payable, payment processing and verifying staff expenses claims
  • Maintain proper record of paperwork and filing
  • Updating supplier invoices into accounting system
  • Assist in posting new staff recruitment in staff recruitment ads portal as and when required
  • Ensure all filing is done on a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage office supplies including purchasing
  • In-charge of office maintenance such as monitoring outsource cleaner to ensure the job is done and notify superior/operation manager when office infrastructure item needs to be repaired/replaced
  • Any other duties assigned by the direct report manager

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting
  • Meticulous and good working attitude
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of Accounting Software is a plus
  • Responsible, organized and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Chinese speaking client
  • Able to work in a team
  • Malaysian Citizen / PR only
