Job Summary
- MAE and EWAK planning for new and current products.
- Collaborate with TEF to plan on line set up requirements including safety elements.
- Line capacity analysis to meet customers demand.
- Align the VSE and VSO towards product new requirements.
- Ensure machine and Process Capability Study meet the capability requirement during mass production.
- Ensure Direct Productivity and failures cost are monitored and drive for improvement.
- Effective manpower and budget planning including cost reduction activities.
- Support production in achieving the effectiveness, output, FOR and quality target through continuous improvement activity.
- Provide support for Quality problem resolution through problem solving skills PSS or 8D.
- Contributes to cost saving projects in cooperation with the Execution Team.

New Product
- Coach the VSE for start up projects, workstation layout, MAE, EWAK investments, new product line setup, workstation buyoff and release.
- Coach VSE in product, process FMEA and control plan.
- Ensure VSE has the PGL Guidelines knowledge.
- Ensure machine and process capability studies being executed according to the requirement.
- Work with PQE lead in risk assessment for any quality issue arise.
- Control and monitoring EWAK and MAE investment.
Operation Support
- Drive for process improvement activities in production (Time Study - VT improvement, direct productivity improvement, ergonomic, workstation, machine and technology improvement).
- Support cost saving activities and approve alteration change.
- Conduct process confirmation to ensure line and process compliances and cycle time according to approved time study (VT) summary.
- Establish long term strategies for effective shop floor management.
- Initiate manufacturing best practices sharing among manufacturing team.
- Lead operations to achieve planned quantity, quality and cost according to plant targets.
- Communicate and verify the internal and external audit findings are being closed and robust actions are in placed and followed.
- Provide support for quality problem resolution through problem solving skills PSS or 8D.
- Regular review with associates on improvement progress and provide necessary guidance for associate career development.
Qualifications
- Degree in any field prefer in science or engineering.
- Knowledge and Exposure 5.1 Minimum of 8 years in manufacturing environment.
- Profound knowledge of technical and business aspects.
- Basic knowledge about product functionalities.
- Holistic picture of the whole value stream.
- Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization.
- Users Centric mind set.
- Work passionately in order to achieve the Value Stream targets.
- Basic Business management knowledge (marketing, sales, controlling, cost-benefit calculation) will be an added advantages.
- Understand mandarin will be an advantage.
