Manager Corporate Strategy
About the role
As the Manager, Corporate Strategy at AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of this leading financial services company. This full-time position, based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, will involve providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive the company's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
- Support the execution of corporate project (e.g. Gen AI Implementation project) and group project/ initiatives
- Research on market and corporate data to be incorporated in the company strategy and planning
- Prepare Japan HQ overseas Meeting, Board and Management meeting materials
- Assist in development corporate data management and analysis to support strategy planning and decision making
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis to formulate strategy and provide value-added analysis
- Assist in preparing board papers and other management reports/presentation materials
- Coordinate activities between departments to ensure that the key projects are completed on schedule
- Act as key liaison person with Japan HQ.
What we're looking for
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a strategy or management consulting role, with a strong understanding of the financial services industry
- Fluency in Japanese (Native or JLPT N1/N2 level).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business problems, and develop creative and pragmatic solutions
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
