As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for the operations of a motivated and proficient team, in terms of corporate action, settlements, the entire life cycle of a trade - in a discount trading brokerage environment.

You will lead a talented team of professionals to develop and execute operations outcomes, work with regulatory bodies to represent the company, and be the subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Oversee strategy & operations, leading front, middle & back office functions with a clear vision & "get things done" mentality.
  • Senior Leadership: Work closely with the COO, CEO and senior management to push for the Malaysia team's operational success, focusing on different asset classes - equities, derivatives, unit trusts.
  • Team Culture: Build a team of collaborative, energetic & passionate members,
  • Regulatory: Work closely with SC, BURSA, for regulatory related matters.

Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 7 years proven track record of success in an operations leadership role within the financial services industry, preferably in capital markets/brokerages/investment platforms.
  • Communication skills in English & Mandarin, to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong local Malaysian financial services & regulatory experience.
