PRODUCT APPLICATION SPECIALIST (DAIRY, NON DAIRY , BEVERAGE AND ICE CREAM)
GSI (Global Specialty Ingredients) long term strategy is to be a 100% manufacturer of Specialty functional Ingredients for food Industries. Specialty products driven to meet customer requirement and solutions. In view of being a customer driven company, there is in need of this position of R&D where he or she will take the lead on Product and Project Development support Product Application and performance, technical support Services, Technical Training for Sales/Marketing
PRINCIPLES ACCOUNTABILITIES (100 % Customer Focus for Local and Oversea Market)
· Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to details
· Experience in working within tight deadlines independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Good knowledge and understanding of different product categories within the dairy & non-dairy and beverages.
· Understanding the impact of ingredient selection and ingredient interactions in different product categories.
· Strong knowledge or experience with different processes applied in dairy & non-dairy and beverages.
· Understanding the impact of production processes on final product quality both in the pilot and industrial scale.
· Hands-on mentality.
· Customer mindset/Customer application support.
· Provide the technical supports, analyse problems, and suggest the right formulation to the S&M / Customers
· Give regular product application training to colleagues, customers, prospects, and distributors in order to make
sure that our product value propositions are demonstrated and understood.
· Develop all technical documentation related to the different applications of the products.
· Inspire customers in their product development by actively identifying and supporting application innovation
projects at Key Customers and joining sales and product managers on Key Account visits.
ENVIRONMENT: -
On pre consultation before order is placed customers demand we provide technical recommendations on ideas to improve existing or new ingredients. On post consultation, customers requires technical support in terms of delivering technical solutions to process and product improvement, new product applications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: -
Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred in food science & technology or equivalent experience preferred.
More than 2 years’ experience with dairy& nondairy & beverage application experience and expertise.
Creativity and scientific proficiency in research & development.
Motivation, passion, and a willingness to experiment are also important.

- Present project paper based on market and customer needs.

Able to work closely with customers on technical solutions and product development through new product line or cost savings.
Able to set up full pledge emulsifier plant and established the process to produce emulsifiers.
