Opportunity

LSEG Deals team covers Mergers & Acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, Private Placements, Debt Capital Markets, Municipals, Global Infrastructure and Private Equity. Data are directly reflected in the company's core products such as Eikon, Workspace and SDC Platinum, providing systematic data and services for investment banks, law firms and financial market participants. We are hiring a Lead Content Analyst for the Deals Operations team. It is an individual contributor role but the analyst will be part of a dynamic team working with colleagues across multiple locations and experience a truly multi-national culture.

Required Day To Day Responsibilities

Lead Content Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data. Support other staff or own the contributor relationship between the company and the local exchange, contributor, or data supplier for day-to-day operations. Analyst will also ensure that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Leverages specific market / language skills to deliver on customer / business requirements.
  • Supports in the accurate resolution of client cases by fixing the data integrity, missing data and other similar issues.
  • Processes data in an accurate and timely manner using the knowledge of the tools and financial markets.
  • Uses the approved sources to identify the data, convert / make valuable contributions to the data, or use the data as is defined in the collection policy.
  • Communicates and works with internal and external teams as required to support sourcing and collection of data.
  • Adheres to the quality metrics and prioritises activities to support business and customer requirements.
  • Supports specific projects assigned and meets or exceeds the KPIs defined.
  • Suggests process improvement ideas to improve efficiency and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to identify and meet client needs.
  • Accountable for delivering high productivity and quality data.
  • Maximize usage of available tools/support to best of advantage to maintain/improve content quality during daily operations.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness per company standards for the covered product/market.
  • Backup other analysts in the team during their absence.
  • Work during local holidays to support specific market.

Working Hours

  • Standard hours 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Native or full professional language proficiency in Mandarin as the role requires research to be conducted in Mandarin, both simplified and traditional.
  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to quickly learn new knowledge and tools
  • Ability to solve problems independently, good at communication and coordination, strong sense of responsibility
  • Data sensitivity and attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree (major in finance, economics, management, or accounting is preferred)
