Job Description:

  • Handle cost accounting and product costing.
  • Prepare and post monthly costing journals.
  • Prepare and review the inventory ageing report.
  • Generate and review costing reports for products, providing insights into the cost structure, margins, and potential areas for cost optimization.
  • Prepare and review HQ quarterly financial reports.
  • Check Sales and AR reports, and related documents.
  • Extracting Monthly Exfac Net Sales (by SKU), monthly BG (by SKU), Monthly FG Stock Write Off & Provision (by SKU).
  • Prepare monthly report.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of Custom Sales & Service Tax (SST02) return processes and reconcile the SST-related records and reports to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts, including cost analysis, projections, and financial planning for the upcoming period.

Job Requirement:

  • A member of MIA and/or with a professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5-6 years’ relevant experience. Prior experience in a major accounting firm will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with ERP or other accounting software systems.
  • Familiarity with SST02 return procedures and tax-related matters.
  • Able to perform under pressure & comply with deadlines.
  • Able to look for opportunities for process improvement & response to a changing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent command of both spoken & written English.
  • Good working knowledge of spreadsheets & financial models
