Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented 3D Visual Designer to develop immersive, themed game environments. This role bridges creatives and developers, focusing on game props, interactive objects, and interior spaces that enhance the game’s narrative and atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D Assets: For game props and interactive objects that contribute to the theme and story of the game based on the creative team’s brief. Ensure that these elements are not only visually appealing but also functional within the game’s environment.
  • Interior Space Design: Develop immersive interior spaces that align with the game’s overall theme, narrative, and atmosphere.
  • Detailed Design Work: Produce high-quality, build to scale 3D models, sketches, and visual concepts with detail and functionality within the technical constraints of the game.
  • Textures and Materials: Apply textures and materials thoughtfully to ensure that the visual elements are realistic, consistent with the narrative, and visually engaging.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all final designs meet the required quality standards and align with the creative direction. Contribute to maintaining a consistent visual style throughout the project.

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in in 3D Animation, Game Design, Digital Media, Architecture or a related field
  • Proficiency in Blender/Autodesk/Maya for 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering.
  • Strong understanding of game asset optimization and low-poly modeling for real-time applications.
  • Experience with UV mapping, PBR texturing, and baking techniques.
  • Ability to create both realistic and stylized 3D environments and props.
  • Knowledge of basic animation and rigging in Blender (a plus).
  • Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine for asset integration (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate ideas effectively.
  • A portfolio showcasing previous 3D modeling work, preferably related to escape games, adventure games, or interactive experiences.

Brownie Points:

  • Prior experience working in the escape room, gaming, or themed entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of substance painting, procedural texturing, or shader creation.
  • Experience with 3D printing or physical prop design (a plus).
