Job Purpose
- Assist the Operation & Maintenance Manager in the operation and maintenance activities for the respective site and to implement energy conservation program to support organization revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to customer complaints
- Responsible for investigating, implementing, corrective action, monitoring, and verifying the effectiveness as well as preventive action to customer complaints.
- Assist in coordinating day-to-day operations of the site including determining needed repairs and improvements to most effectively meet the energy conservatives program.
- Prepare and compile monthly reports and minutes of meetings in accordance with client's requirements.
- Analyze site equipment, specifications and drawings in view to ensure the operation and maintenance work can be performed undisturbed.
- Compile all additional works or variation orders.
- Manage and monitor all sub-contractors, ensuring all work performed is according to specifications and requirements.
- Maintains the inventory of spare and repair parts, consumables and tools.
- Attend operation and maintenance coordination meetings and correspondences.
- Assist in preparing, compiling and recording operation and maintenance data such as work order summary, temperature profile, chiller plant daily report, etc.
- Assist the O&M Manager in logging and controlling all O&M drawings/documents of external origin.
- Supervise and coordinate defect rectification work.
- Report and act on quality issues that need corrective and preventive action.
- Maintain operation and maintenance quality records.
- Comply with the company's ISO quality policy, objectives and departmental objectives.
- Compile and ensure staff compliance with all operation and maintenance procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in engineering fieldwork, preferably in HVAC.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Understand engineering standard practice.
- Good fundamental Engineering knowledge in HVAC systems.
- Demonstrates responsible behavior and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Good technical report writing skills.
