IT Executive provides hands-on technical support to all employees while ensuring the smooth operation of the company's IT hardware, systems and networks.

Tasks & Responsibilites

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems to minimize operational downtime.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software applications.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions.
  • Assist in maintaining IT infrastructure including servers and connectivity.
  • Track IT equipment allocation and replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements when in-house fixes are not feasible.
  • Conduct regular IT health check activity as preventive maintenance.
  • Support adherence to IT policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance to employees on IT tools and best practices.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up IT equipment and providing IT training.
  • Assist in introducing and supporting digital tools and solutions for the workplace.
  • Support special IT projects, such as system upgrades or migrations.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior or management team.
  • Responsible nearshoring support for both Malaysia and Singapore entity.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support or similar role.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written)
  • Advanced proficiency IT Knowledge and use of IT-systems within the area of responsibility
  • ITSM, Active Directory, Qualys, Splunk, Jira, Confluence, Networking tools
  • Microsoft Windows platform and Office knowledge
  • ITIL Foundation Service and Demand Management
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral communication skills to gather information from employees and explain complex technical concepts in simple language.
  • Patient and empathetic approach to assisting non-technical users.
  • Capable of working closely with cross-functional teams such as IT application teams.
  • Experienced in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Experienced in SAP ERP system is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in automation tools is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn emerging technologies and adapt to dynamic environments.
