Job Description

The main focus of this position is the data entry of patient information into pathology databases by field entry. This requires interpretation of doctor's handwriting and correct spelling and medical terminology. We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and motivated individuals to join the team.

Job Descriptions

  • Demonstrate a minimum typing speed of 30 wpm with greater than 98% accuracy
  • Have exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, highly organized and the ability to follow established procedures
  • Ability to interpret data and recognise data patterns.
  • Be comfortable taking responsibility for timely and thorough completion of their task
  • Have a willingness to work within Australian Clinical Labs’ core values
  • Understanding of medical terminology and work experience in a related position will be well regarded.
  • Strong English language proficiency – reading and writing.

Skills and Experience

  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma in any field. Degree holders are welcome to apply.
  • Computer, typing and keyboard skills.
  • Self-starter, who is comfortable in a team environment.
  • Willing to work on weekends, Public Holidays and shift hours.
  • Willing to start work on 2nd October 2023
